We're closing Sepsis down

As you might know, we've been on a standby for a week or so.
Today we took the decision to close down our band for good, due to personal issues.
The band will not continue under any other name or with other/new members, and we will not do a last gig. We feel that this is the best choice under the current circumstances.
We know this comes very sudden, but we have good reasons not to be explained online.
To all who has helped us goes a big thank you, none mentioned, none forgotten.
Most of the ex-members of Sepsis will continue to play in other projects, so keep your eyes and ears open.

Sepsis on total stand-by

Our band has gone on a total standby as from today due to personal issues. This means that all concerts in the future as well as the recording session has been cancelled. We are extremely sorry about that, and want to give all the bookers, technicians and so on a big apology.
More on this asap.

Recording for a 7'' soon

First of all, thanks to all the people who came to/organized our gigs the past couple of weeks. We had a good time, and we hope you enjoyed our new stuff.

We're going in the studio this fall, october is the plan. All we can say now is, that we are doing a 7'' EP, and we aim at having it done before the end of the year. We'll be back with some more info about this later.
If you know someone with a diy-style label that might be interested in helping us out, we'd be glad to hear from you!

New artwork

We've done some new artwork, which we will put on patches and the like. Get it at our next gigs. More will be done soon, some backpatchy stuff and probably also some fonty stuff. More on that later.

Video from the minitour

So, a video has been upped from the minitour. Soundquality is not superb, but you get the idea. The track is Endless Wargames, and it was recorded in Trøjborg Beboerhus, Aarhus.

What's going on

Currently we're working on new material, some is ready some is not. Expect it to be darker themed than what's on the demo, but with the same energy.

What a weekend!

What an insanely nice mini-tour that was. Thanks all who booked, showed up, played and so on, it was a pleasure!
Soon we will put up some pictures and video from the gigs, but it takes a little to get it all together, there is quite a lot. Untill then, see ya'll at the gig in Hell-singør with Instinct of Survival and Avfart 33 - what a blast!

The demo is almost done!

Our demo is almost done. We only need a few things to get it ready. Hopefully we will have it done by next weekend. Untill then, heres is some of the graphics from the tape - Enjoy!

We've uploaded all our lyrics of the songs we currently do (but of course we have more we don't do live yet). The page is still somewhat under construction, so please bear with the mess.

Somethings brewing: Whats up in march and april

We're in for a busy period, so we wanted to give an overlook. 

Demo-recording and release

We're in for recording our demo. It will feature around six tracks, never and older stuff. The demo will be titled "Den Yderste Dag" and we'll release it ourselves. The price is not decided yet, but it will be cheap. We'll also do some patches etc. soon. The demo will be recorded this weekend (24-25th march), and we hope for a release in april.

Gigs

We're in for four gigs in march and april, both here in Copenhagen, in Helsingør and a mini-tour i Jutland. Check the upcoming gigs here.

New material

Currently we're working on tons of new stuff. We'll present one of the new tracks this friday, and at least two new tracks at the Jutland minitour. Heavy stench-ish stuff with many harmonies, long c-parts and dark lyrics. We're looking forward to play 'em live for you!

Feature on Crutches demo-tape

Crutches have just released a demo-tape with a bunch of their songs. Good stuff!
On the b-side is featured four of their friends's bands, and we're one of them, with our track "Hoax".
So go buy the tape, either through Crutches or us.
The tape features a fancy zip-bag, nicely done booklet and even a poster. Price is 30 DKK.

A lot of changes!

We’ve decided to change our name to SEPSIS, which is the medical word for blood poisoning. 

There’s a couple of reasons why, but most importantly, we didn’t think Den Yderste Dag fit our style of music, which has evovled quite a lot. Secondly we decided a non-danish name would make more sense, since we do all lyrics etc. in english, and lastly, we’ve gotten two new members that we wanted to have an influence in our name as well.

We hope you like the new name - we do - and will help us to spread the word.
While we’re in the middle of changing, we’d like to announce that we are changing our homepage to blogger. We guess you've already figured that out since you're here.

From now on we will only update this one, so check it out for posts!
